On March 7, Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, invited the community to celebrate the grand opening of the new Hoodoo Express chairlift and beginner terrain located in the new Deer Valley East Village resort gateway. Guests of all ages enjoyed a fun-filled afternoon on the slopes, featuring free skiing on Hoodoo Express, live entertainment and complimentary Deer Valley treats.
The first 200 pre-registered participants received free Hoodoo Express lift access, along with the option to rent ski gear for just $25 per package. A live set from DJ Nevermore, plus hot cocoa, cider and cookies, rounded out the family-friendly festivities.
“This is a milestone moment for Deer Valley as we expand our learning terrain and access for beginners and families looking to enjoy our world-class slopes,” said Deer Valley president and COO Todd Bennett. “We’re looking forward to welcoming the community to be some of the first to experience Hoodoo Express and enjoy the learning area on the new Prospect ski run.”
The Hoodoo Express will operate from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays only.
